St. Vincent’s High School,
2005/2006 St. Vincent’s Street, Camp,
St. Vincent’s High School is situated in the Pune Cantonment area, popularly referred as “Camp” by the Punekars. The cantonment was settled by the British and over generations it has developed into a place characterised by structures with Colonial influence and a melting pot for different cultures and traditions. St. Vincent’s School, with its history of over 150 years is an excellent exemplification of the Camp heritage.
Short walks around the Main Venue would lead one on an exploration of the bustling street life on M. G. Road and East Street. Landmarks such as Shivaji Market, Hazrat Babajan Durgah and many other heritage structures are just a stone’s throw away.
The venue for SketchFest06 is nestled in a vibrant mix of traditional and urban setting which offers a variety of stay and food options and a plethora of urban sketching subject matter.

The shape is inspired from the “Raj Mudra” or the “Royal Seal” of the Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The seal is in octagonal shape with a verse of glory inscribed in it. It is also referred as “Mohor” which literally means a stamp. It is reminiscent of the glory days of the Maratha empire and still has identifiable connect with Pune as a city.
The Sketchfest06 logo created by Ashwin Chikerur, member of UrbanSketchers Pune, is inspired by the same and alludes to this emotion. It is a stamp that symbolises USK Pune’s growing strong presence in the global sketching space with more than 300 weekly sketch meets till date and a growing enthusiasm amongst all ages seen through a following of more than 11000 members on social media.
We present the symbolic stamp, representing USK Pune’s Sketchfest06 2022 with pride!
